Established Since 2010

Enso Taekwondo Academy’s inception is a recent one, with the club undergoing re-branding in April 2019. The club based in Milnthorpe, Cumbria has however been teaching Taekwondo at it’s venue in Dallam School since its initial launch in January 2010 under the leadership of Head Instructor Steven Grabek.

Our ETHOS

The word ‘Enso’ is a zen concept, expressing a moment when the mind is free to let the body create and symbolises the incompleteness of things, allowing for movement, development and attaining perfection. Here at Enso Taekwondo Academy we are constantly learning and evolving and our aim is to help every member develop and achieve their personal goals whatever they may be.

Our CLUB

We take great pride in providing a positive environment that nurtures our members and always make sure training is fun and fulfilling; training in both Sport and Traditional Taekwondo. We regularly attend competitions and provide extra training sessions outside of our normal schedule to ensure all members are supported in their journey.

oUr Instructors

All Enso instructors have many years of Taekwondo experience, are members of British Taekwondo, fully qualified level 2 coaches, DBS checked, first aid trained and hold public liability insurance.

Affiliations

Enso Taekwondo Academy is a member of British Taekwondo the National Governing Body for Taekwondo in the UK. All our members are registered with British Taekwondo, which provides insurance to train, compete, attend seminars and other events.
